Domestic Shipping

 All domestic orders (orders within Australia) will be shipped out within one (1) working day of receiving payment via Australia Post.

Standard Post: Within Sydney please allow 2-3 working days to arrive, for the rest of Australia please allow 2-4 working days. Standard Shipping Cost $9.00 (TRACKED)

Express Post: Please allow 1-2 working days to arrive. Express Shipping Cost $12.00 (TRACKED). *WA please allow 2-3 working days.

Same Day Sydney Delivery -  Order before 1 pm to have your package delivered between 6-9pm that night. Residential addresses only  (Selected Sydney postcodes only) $15

No Business Addresses. Weekends and Public Holidays deliveries not available.

DIY customs pairs take 2 -3 weeks to be made

 

All international orders (orders outside Australia) will be shipped out within one (1) working day via Australia Post or DHL, depending on the service selected by the customer.

 

International Customs charges are worn by the purchaser.

Express International Courier: Please allow 3-4 business days for your parcel to arrive. Express DHL Courier International Delivery: Ranges between $25 - 40 AUD, pending location. Details below. (A tracking code will be provided courtesy of DHL).  

New Zealand: (1-2 business days) $10 -$25 AUD - Free shipping after $100 AUD

China, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong: $30  Free Shipping after $200 AUD

USA, Canada: $10 -$30 USD * - Free shipping after $100 USD *

UK/EU: $30 AUD ( you should order from BudgySmugglerUK.com )

South Africa: $50 AUD Free shipping after $200 AUD

This will have your order to you within 1-2 business days and no import fees are applied as your order will be sent from London!

Returns/Exchanges

When our flock is happy, we’re happy. We want you to feel free as a bird when Smuggling.

If for any reason you aren’t feeling 100% satisfied with your Smugglers, you may return the item(s) you’ve purchased for a full refund inclusive of the original shipping costs. For all exchange orders you will have to pay $9 to have the exchange parcel shipped out to you.

Please note, any items marked FINAL SALE or any Custom / Made to Order / Pre Order pairs are not able to be returned, exchanged or receive store credit unless deemed faulty.

How long do I have to return my Smugglers?

Within 90 days of receiving them. Although if you've bought them for a gift, we won't be complete tight arses... Just let us know the situation and they should be okay to exchange outside of this period.

 

How do I return an item?

  1. Complete the above Return Portal.
    Please note: You will need your Order Number and Post Code to enter the Portal.
  2. Print your Return Label and attach it to the order.  Alternatively, if you provide the electronic label to Aus Post, they will print the label for you.
  3. Drop the Package to Aus Post within 90 days.
  4. Wait for your refund/exchange to be processed.

  

What can I return/exchange?

The item(s) must be unworn, in its original packaging with swing tag attached and not damaged in any way. We cannot exchange/refund items that have been worn or damaged. For womens pieces, the hygiene label must still be on.

Sadly, if an item is marked FINAL SALE, you are unable to return, exchange or redeem store credit on this item unless it is faulty.

 

What is the difference between an instant refund and a standard refund?

 An instant refund generates your refund immediately. Please note you will see a pending charge appear in your bank account as a security deposit, in case you don’t send the other pair back! A standard refund will generate your refund when our orders crew has received and processed your return in our warehouse.

 

What happens next?

We’ll receive your parcel at Budgy HQ and process a full refund. If you are exchanging your Smugglers or Smugglettes you will be charged $9 to cover the cost of shipping your return parcel. You will receive an email when your refund has been processed. Funds will be returned to the same account that made the initial payment.

 

But I just want to exchange them for a different size/style! 

Your order can be exchanged using our returns portal. Simply enter your order number and postcode to be able exchange the items from your original order.  

Who pays for the return/exchange?

If you received the correct item and it is not faulty, you pay for the postage back to us.


What if I received the wrong item / a faulty item?

Head over to our returns portal to state that you received an incorrect item and exchange the item you intended to receive for the same item. You will not have to pay for the return!

 

Postage Customs and Customs Charges

When ordering from Budgy Smuggler's website, or through direct contact via email, phone or social media pages like Facebook or Twitter, from overseas you may be subject to import duties or taxes levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Budgy Smuggler website, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the products are received. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross border deliveries are subject to opening and inspections by customs authorities.

Any deliveries outside Australia are subject to the postal and customs laws of those countries. Budgy Smuggler cannot guarantee delivery, regular air mail within 14 days, or express delivery within 7 days outside Australia, however the vast majority of Budgy Smugglers' previous orders to countries outside of Australia have arrived within 10 days.
