Custom Swimwear DIY Builder

Select your size and click Customize to enter our 3D Budgy Designer. From there you can choose from a range of colours, add personalised text and get as adventurous as putting your own face on the design. Once you are happy with your creation, proceed to payment and your design moves straight into production.

Custom swimwear is made to order at our factory and takes around 3 to 4 weeks to produce before dispatch. Keep this in mind if you are ordering around November, December or January, as a Christmas close down period can extend production time. Check current lead times if ordering close to an event date.

Our swimwear is printed onto white material, so dark colours may not come out quite as rich as expected on screen. Leave a gap between any images or text and the edges or stitch guidelines, as anything too close to the seam may be cut off during production. Colours shown in the design portal are for illustration purposes only, and slight variation between the portal and the finished product is normal.

How long does custom swimwear take to arrive?
Custom orders are made to order at our factory and generally take 3 to 4 weeks to produce before dispatch, excluding a close down period over Christmas. Check current ETAs if ordering around November, December or January.

Can I use my own photo on custom swimwear?
Yes. The DIY Builder lets you upload your own image or photo. Keep in mind our printers use CMYK, so colours in your photo may not print exactly as they appear on your screen.

Why do my colours look different in the finished product?
Our swimwear is printed onto white material, so dark colours can print less rich than expected. Colour selection in the design portal is for illustration purposes only and slight variation in shade on the actual product is normal. Our printers are also non fluro, so any fluorescent colours in your design may not print as expected.

Can I get an exact brand colour or fluorescent colour printed?
If you need specific colours, such as for branding or fluorescent shades, we recommend working directly with our design team at auscustoms@budgysmuggler.com.au rather than using the DIY Builder, to make sure you get the result you are after.

Can I add a logo or licensed design to my custom swimwear?
We are unable to produce items featuring licensed brand logos without written permission from the company, or any designs including inappropriate images or text.

Where do I add delivery instructions for my order?
Please do not enter delivery instructions in the order notes section of your cart, as this section is used for courier delivery details only.
